IMPORTANT: This will not work on a Wii U in vWii mode!! Priiloader has a menu called "Wii Menu Hacks." If you go into that and enable the option "Remove NoCopy Save File Protection" after playing both games and creating saves on the Wii internal memory to overwrite, you should be able to move your saves back to your Wii (assuming that they are not corrupted). If you are on a Wii (RVL-001), a Wii Family Edition (RVL-101), or maybe* on a Wii Mini (RVL-201), you can attempt this after installing a Homebrew application called Priiloader. Also, with a Wii, one must play a game and have an existing savefile to overwrite it from an SD Card. This could be what is stopping your installation.
Brawl both have savefile protection on them on a factory Wii system. I am not sure exactly what the issue is, however, I have two theories that may be of some use.
